New Destiny Deaf Church was founded in October 2008, by Deaf Pastor Meloy Richmond and Senior Pastor Britt Prince of New Destiny Church of Richland, Mississippi. We are located in the Jackson, Mississippi, metro area. All services are in American Sign Language.

Pastor Richmond and his wife, Tressia, are both Deaf and are able to communicate fluently in American Sign Language with Deaf members and visitors. Pastor Richmond teaches a Sunday School class for Deaf members on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and Worship Service at 11:00 am. They meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for prayer and Bible study. A sign language interpreter is available for all services and events to interpret between hearing and deaf.
The mission of New Destiny Deaf Church is to reach and minister to the Deaf community in the Jackson area. They do this by hosting Deaf Chat the last Saturday of each month (a time of socializing with Deaf, interpreters, and students learning ASL). Pastor Richmond has also been privileged to teach Bible stories to the Deaf students at Mississippi School for the Deaf.
